Galerie Pascal Cuisinier specializes in the first generation of French designers, including Janine Abraham and Dirk Jan Rol, René-Jean Caillette, Pierre Guariche, André Monpoix, Michel Mortier, Joseph-André Motte, Pierre Paulin, Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq, and Alain Richard, and the three best lighting designers, Jacques Biny, Pierre Disderot, and Robert Mathieu. Mostly born between 1925 and 1930, these creators followed similar studies at the National School of Decorative Arts or the School of Camondo in Paris. They shared the same views concerning choices of form and function in their production, which is characterized by its functionality, technical innovation, and elegance of design.
